All of our bespoke kitchens are tailored to your personal requirements and the cabinetry that we design with you will set the style of your kitchen, however don’t underestimate the impact that the worktop has on the overall scheme. It is important that you consider how these two elements will work in unison and don’t leave this as an afterthought. Last week the worktop was templated and installed in quartz for our new showroom. With so many worktop materials on the market
the options can feel endless. Here’s why we decided to use quartz.
.

Quartz worktops are roughly 90% natural stone combined with various resins, polymers & pigments. This gives the appearance of a natural stone but with very low maintenance. The market offers a wide variety of colours from black and white to vivid colours or marble in appearance. Due to its man-made quality the pigments and patterns are consistent throughout so cut edges retain the same design. Another benefit is that it never needs to be sealed, and is totally non porous, so you don’t need to worry about bacterial growth, mould or stains. This makes it perfect for family kitchens with the area in high use.

So in short, it’s easy to care for, you have a huge choice of colours and it has the wow factor. What’s not to love!
